Perfect Weather

Yesterday and today have been pretty nice. My thermometer says 62° and since it's February 6th, ya gotta love it! Both days I rode my bike up the Bizz Johnson trail to Devil's Corral trailhead. The trail is almost dry in most spots but that is supposed to change soon with some weather coming. Here are some pictures of the ice sculptures along the Susan River... nice, huh?

Super Bowl Sunday!!

Wow!! Super Bowl Sunday. Wait, wasn't there something about football going on today? I did what I usually do on this Sunday, went fishing. Due to the really nice weather pattern we have had recently, I decided to drive down to Lake Shasta and ride my bike on the Clickapudi trail and do a little shore fishing. The drive was totally cool, didn't have any traffic at all both ways. Now how often does that happen? The only down side to this trip was that the poison oak, my nemesis, didn't have any leaves yet which made it hard to identify.


To make it even better, I ended up catching 4 nice spotted bass in the short time I fished. Ya gotta love Super Bowl Sunday!!
